Reunion features Brennan, who embodies the struggle of a man caught between two worlds, unable to fully integrate into the hearing world and shunn...。欧阳超出生在中医世家，却不愿继承父业，而选择成为扶贫干部。2019年末，脱贫攻坚进入尾声，上级把未脱贫的下白村划给欧阳超，李婆婆家为帮扶重点。2020年初疫情爆发，欧阳超外公董国梁在救治病人过程中染病，其父欧阳宏也主动请缨去一线，不幸殉职。欧阳超在“开方莫问贫富贵贱，救一命有贵千金；行医不惧瘴疬瘟疫，治一病乃济苍生”的家风指引下，独自留守老店杏林堂数月，在救治病人过程中，理解了父辈从医的大义。疫情过后，欧阳超回村继续带领群众种植中药材。面对贫困户李婆婆与自家父辈之间的隔阂，欧阳超秉持“扶人先扶人心”的理念，不断化解矛盾。最终在泥石流来临时以勇气和牺牲感动了村民们，生动诠释了“治病救人”的家风，承担起父辈“舍小家顾大家”的社会责任。。
