大卫·法伯（David Faber）是驻扎在马里的法国军队的一名中尉，因为装甲车爆炸而严重烧伤，并丧失了记忆。他被送回法国后，被安置在了重症监护室中。为了进行长期的康复疗养，他需要接受姐姐细致耐心的照顾。他们回到了位于阿尔卑斯山的家中，四周都是山林和湖泊。尽管姐姐一直试图帮助弟弟重拾记忆，但是大卫本人似乎并不着急去找回过去的自己。。Somewhere in Myanmar is a forest rich in amber and controlled by the Kachin Independence Army (KIA). Most of its inhabitants work in a mine, digging the earth night and days in the hope of finding the precious ore that will get them out of poverty. But on top of the excruciating hardship of the work, they also have to fear an attack from the army.。
