片中讲述的是这样一群特殊的群体，他们都是盲人，除了张逢春（梁斌饰）是后天因素致盲的以外，其他四个队员都是先天盲人，不过队里的队长能模糊的感觉到一点点光亮。因张逢春明眼的时候有个女儿，现和他的前妻生活在一起，张逢春为了让女儿能在县里上学，拼命的挣钱，好多次因为这样违反了队里的规矩，队长和他一而再再而三的发生冲突。 北京来的袁记者（张皓饰）给盲人们争取到了去北京演出的机会，盲人们去北京演出闹出了一大堆笑话，不过最终还是因为这次演出出了名，回来后大家都心高气傲，各奔东西，张逢春的前妻也带着他的女儿离开了赵家峪村，盲人们离开了盲宣队，命运会是怎样？张逢春也因女儿的离开，有了什么改变呢？。Based upon James Ellroy's novel 'Blood on the Moon'.
