《阴道独白》是美国女作家伊娃·恩斯勒（Eve Ensler）的剧作，近年来，上演这出话剧，已经成为国际性“妇女战胜暴力”运动的标志性活动。 《阴道独白》１９９７年在美国获奥比奖（Obie Award），１９９８年成书出版。恩斯勒本人是剧作家、诗人和行动主义者，她曾在纽约百老汇之外的剧场和大学里表演此剧，还曾出演伦敦、耶路撒冷、萨格勒布（前南斯拉夫的一个城市）。她的作品《必要的靶子》在百老汇义演，收益用来资助波西尼亚的妇女难民。 自1999年以来，在传统的情人节期间上演《阴道独白》已经发展成为国际性的“妇女战胜暴力”（Victory over Violence）运动，情人节也因此被赋予新的含义。作家欢迎任何人在V日发起活动中上演《阴道独白》，以“提高觉悟，反抗针对妇女的性暴力”。 恩斯勒的挑战性、直言不讳的叙述风格，从她为书写的前言的第一个词就开始了：...。Soft boys by day, kings by night: That’s how the young Bulgarian Roma are when they come to Vienna looking for freedom and a quick buck. They sell their bodies as if they’re all they have. The thing that warms them, so far from home, is the feeling of togetherness. But the nights are long and unpredictable.。
