日本土耳其合作电影《海难1890》 该片根据真人真事改编，故事发生在1890年9月的日本和歌山县串本町大岛的附近海域，来自土耳其的大使团乘坐的军舰发生沉船事故，船上618人跌入大海，导致五百多人丧生，共有69名幸存者在当地民众的营救下脱险。这一沉船救人事件，至今印刻在土耳其人民的心中。。Inspired by W.G. Sebald’s book and based on WWII archive footage, the film puts forward the question: is it morally acceptable to use civilian population as a means of war? Is it possible to justify mass destruction for the sake of higher “moral” ideals? The question remains as relevant today, as it was 80 years ago, and its urgency is tragically manifested in the current event...。
