「となりのボブ・マーリィ」で初脚本＆監督を務めた俳優・大鶴義丹が、写真家の桐島ローランドを撮影監督に迎えて監督したバイク・ロードムービー。突然の会社の倒産で日本に帰国したミハルは、久々に帰った空虚な部屋で１通の手紙を見つける。ミハルは昔の恋人との思い出を胸に、手紙を頼りにバイクで北へ向かう。バイクを走らせていたミハルは１人の男と出会い、その男はかつての恋人も持っていた8ミリカメラを持っていた。。Speedy" loses his job as a soda-jerk, then spends the day with his girl at Coney Island. He then becomes a cab driver and delivers Babe Ruth to Yankee Stadium, where he stays to see the game. When the railroad tries to run the last horse-drawn trolley (operated by his girl's grandfather) out of business, "Speedy" organizes the neighborhood oldtimers to thwart their scheme.。
